About Stefanie

Stefanie Carr is an award-winning sales and marketing professional who has worked in the hospitality industry for close to twenty years, doing everything from washing dishes to tending bar at both global companies and locally-owned establishments. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Carr moved to Boston fifteen years ago for a job opportunity after graduating with a degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin. Not only did she fall in love with the Northeast, but she soon fell in love with her husband Jay, a Rhode Islander, and relocated to Providence where she has resided for the past five years. 
 
Her interest in real estate came at an early age. Her father was a general contractor who taught her the value of remodeling and renovating – she often assisted him with various projects like refinishing cabinets and hand-sanding hardwood floors. She would also tag along with him and her mom to the Metropolitan Builders Association’s annual “Parade of Homes” where she saw the latest trends in interior and exterior design, learned about sustainable building techniques and energy efficiency, and marveled at the newest cutting-edge, in-home technology. 
 
In her spare time, Carr enjoys exploring the Ocean State’s hidden gems and traveling the world. Her favorite spots across the globe are Brazil, Cuba, Greece and Norway and her favorite local beaches are Sakonnet Point and Blue Shutters. A true ocean lover, she prefers to be by the sea with her feet in the sand, but when there’s a chill in the air you can find her hitting the slopes in Telluride, Deer Valley and Stowe or glued to a football game. A huge fan, Carr watches multiple games all fall and winter and even manages players on her own fantasy football team. She and her husband both love to entertain and you can typically find them sitting in their backyard waiting to serve up some wine next to a gorgeous cheese plate while meats and veggies cook on the grill and their dogs Ralphie and Trudy look on, hoping for a bite.
