Belinda Nattress, NCBR’s 2015 Realtor of the Year (ROTY), announced Alyce Wright as the 2016 REALTOR of the Year.

All candidates are nominated by a REALTOR member within NCBR and then the ROTY committee reviews each candidate and selects the most qualified recipient. The qualifications for this prestigious award are based on REALTOR spirit, activities in civic affairs, activities at the Newport County Board of REALTORS, the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS, the National Association of REALTORS, and last but not least, any business accomplishments.

Alyce has been a REALTOR member since 2008. She has served as NCBR Treasurer since November of 2014, as well as a Director and member of the Executive Committee. She currently serves as a Director for the RI Association of Realtors is a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS, and is affiliated with Lila Delman Real Estate.

Alyce is an Alumnus of Harvard College with a degree in Economics, and 10 years of experience working at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. When she moved to RI in 2008, she brought with her a strong financial background and strong negotiating skills, to the benefit of both her clients and her community. She also volunteers as a Board member for the Harvard Club of Rhode Island, interviewing prospective Harvard students and chairing the Harvard Prize Book Award. She annually serves as a Volunteer Teacher for Junior Achievement, teaching the students about entrepreneurship and financial literacy through a hands-on program of fun activities. She is a regular participant in NCBR’s Rebuilding Together. As past Co-Chair on Membership Meetings, Alyce has always been a strong advocate for REALTORS’ professional education, both in the Newport County Board and in her own office.
