The year proved to be a time of great growth for Lila Delman’s Commercial Division, having represented both the buyer and seller of Newport’s Mainstay Hotel for $14,340,000, marking the highest commercial sale ever recorded in Rhode Island’s Statewide MLS. Lila Delman also participated in both sides of a private hotel sale on Aquidneck Island, which traded for $9,650,000. The firm’s commercial efforts were led by Gregory Arakelian, Commercial Director/Sales Associate, and Dave Lawrence, Sales Associate.
Looking at the market as a whole, Lila Delman maintained the highest market share of closed sales in both Newport County and Washington County. In Newport County, Lila Delman closed $50,000,000 more in sales than its closest competitor. In Washington County, Lila Delman led by over $75,000,000.
In Watch Hill, Lila Delman’s Lori Joyal represented the seller of 10 Bluff Avenue for a historic $17,600,0000. This transaction represents the highest sale ever recorded in Rhode Island’s Statewide MLS and the 2nd highest home sale in Rhode Island’s history. This sale marks the second time Lori Joyal, Rhode Island’s 2019 Top Producing Individual Agent, and Lila Delman have sold the property.
In addition to the historic sale of 10 Bluff Avenue in Westerly’s Watch Hill, Lila Delman’s success in 2019 was further exemplified by their participation in the highest residential sales in Narragansett, Charlestown, Warwick, Cranston, Exeter, Lincoln, North Smithfield and Scituate.
The firm also participated in top ranking residential sales in Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, Jamestown, Bristol, North Kingstown, Cumberland and Block Island.
