NEWPORT, RI (October 17, 2014) – Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate’s Annual Fall Conference took place from Sunday, October 5th to Wednesday, October 8th in Boston, Massachusetts at The Fairmont Copley Plaza. The Fall Conference is hosted by Luxury Real Estate Chairman/Publisher, John Brian Losh, and is one of four annual invitation-only events that bring together the most prominent luxury brokers from across the globe to discuss current real estate trends. Lila Delman Real Estate President Melanie Delman attended the event with Broker Associate and International Fine Properties Liaison Catherine Gazder and Director of Business Management Geer Messinger.

Lila Delman Real Estate International was honored with the Outstanding Social Media Savvy award, which is given to the Luxury Real Estate member who has used social media to markedly increase their business. Marketing Director Jeni Pardo de Zela created the social media campaign in order to creatively celebrate the firm’s 50th anniversary on a digital level. Lila Delman Real Estate’s “50 Weeks of Giving” Facebook campaign consists of donating $100 each week to a Rhode Island organization and is being regulated by Digital Marketing Coordinator Marina Hare. Over the course of 50 weeks, Facebook users vote for 1 of 3 local organizations to reach a grand total of $5000 in donations.

Keynote speakers at the conference included Kipp Bodnar of HubSpot, who discussed inbound marketing principles and tactics, and Kermit Baker from the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, who shared insight on current housing trends.

Members of the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate network participated in expert panel discussions on a diverse range of topics including working with international buyers, the latest technologies to win and market a listing and cultivating your network by leveraging your connections to grow your business.
