Tiverton

There are very few places left in the world where one can experience acres of farmland rolling down to the sea. Such is the landscape of South Tiverton. Starting from Mount Hope Bay, The Sakonnet River runs south toward the Atlantic Ocean in between Aquidneck Island and the South Coast. The East/West orientation of the land creates an abundantly sunny location perfect for farming, wine cultivation and of course boating. With easy access to by boat to both Newport and Buzzards Bay, South Tiverton is a boaters paradise. It is also heaven for the “epicurious” The local harvests make farm to table dining a daily occurrence. Because of this there are many excellent restaurants and wine tasting events at the local vineyards. Easy access to 24 makes Tiverton very accessible to Providence and Boston.
