Sue moved to Rhode Island in 1993 to pursue a master’s degree in Marine Affairs at the University of Rhode Island. Born in Boston and raised on Cape Cod, the ocean and beaches have always been the backdrop of her life. With a concentration in Coastal Zone Management issues during her graduate studies, especially as they relate to land use planning, Sue brings a unique perspective to real estate transactions in South County RI.
After graduating from Trinity College, Sue spent the first six years of her career in a sales position. While raising her three sons here in RI, Sue enjoyed teaching preschool music classes and spent nearly 17 years serving as a volunteer in the South Kingstown public schools where she focused her efforts on mentoring at-risk students and fundraising for South Kingstown CARES and as a board member and past President of the South Kingstown Education Foundation. She also helped manage a small employee benefits consulting firm and a local commercial property.
Sue joined LDRE in early 2017 and combines her true passion of helping people with her love of RI to serve her clients enthusiastically and effectively. She lives in Saunderstown with her husband. Sue cannot imagine life without a home base in the beautiful Ocean State and looks forward to helping you find (or sell!) yours!
